If you have read the first part of this article, you would have noticed that three methods of diagnosis for back pains were discussed and these are X-ray Imaging, Discography and Computerized Tomography (CT). Each of these has its peculiar process and system of application. Also, the target areas of the diagnosis were also described.
In this second part, other methods of back pain diagnoses are looked into read on.
Bone scans are carried out on patients who complain of back pain frequently. The procedure is targeted at identifying fractures, infections or any form of disorders that might have affected the bones in the back. This procedure may involve the use of radioactive materials to inject into the blood stream where they collect in the bones. The use of scanner images is also applied in the process.
Thermography is the procedure, which entails the use of infrared devices to detect change of the absence of nerve root compression in the back. This procedure is very effective as it involves the measure of temperatures in the body’s organ.
Electro diagnostic Procedures, which may include Evoked Potential (EP), Nerve Conduction Studies and Electromyography (EMG), are all procedures that can be applied to diagnose your back pain especially if there is injury on the back. Also, ultra sound scanning or ultra sound imaging is also used to diagnose muscles, ligaments, tendons, and other tissues at the back whose functions have been distorted in one way or the other.

Back pain is a discomforting feeling that occurs in the back of people. These pains often cause low productivity in the person and there is need to effect the right treatment so that the victim can get cure.
Doctors using different methods and applying different types of equipments often carry out diagnosis for back pain. This article will describe some diagnostic methods you should be aware of when treating back pains.
X-ray imaging is applied to find out the causes of back pain in the individual. This imaging tires to detect broken bones at the back of the body. X-ray images will show injured muscles, ligaments, bulging disc and so on. You will have to see the position of the bones where the pains emanates from.
Discography is another method of diagnosing back pain. In this method, injections of a dye are inserted into a spinal disc that is assumed to cause low back pain. The dyes injected are able to highlight the damaged areas of the vertebrae from the X-rays. This method is often applied w hen there is continuous pain even after taking conventional treatments.
Computerized Tomography (CT) is a painless procedure applied to detect back pains suspected to be caused by spinal stenosis, ruptured disc, or damaged vertebrae. In this procedure, X-ray and scanners are used to detect the bones where the back pains emanated from.

If you notice that you can’t sit down for a certain period of time without having some pains in your back, then it’s the most basic sign and symptom of serious back pain. Perhaps that’s the right time to see your doctor to help with your back pain.
If you find that when you awake in the morning you feel this serious pain in your back, then you just might have a back pain condition that needs the attention of an expert medical doctor.
But of course, in certain cases, these might not be real signs and symptoms of back pain, but just a reaction of some other condition. The general rule of thumb is to see your doctor whenever such pains don’t go away pretty fast. Your doctor is in the best position to tell you whether it’s something to worry about or not.
Finally, don’t dismiss any pains you feel in your back, or any other part of your body for that matter. Any pain is as a result of something and should be looked at, least it leads to something more disastrous.
